BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION UK

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. For insurance purposes the minimum age for participants on all of our investigations is 18 years or older.

2. No alcohol or drugs are to be consumed prior to or during an investigation. Evidence of such will result in intervention and you will be escorted from the venue immediately, regardless of time, weather or personal circumstances. Anyone seen to be intoxicated will be asked not to attend the event that evening with no refund.

2b. No refunds will be given in circumstances relating to removal from an event where the law has been broken.

3. Due to current law, no smoking / vaping, is allowed indoors at any event. There will be designated smoking areas at our events and will be situated outside of the venue. These areas are likely to be assigned by the venue owners and will have been considered carefully for both safety of the guests and for the requirements of the building and its age.

4. Due to Health and Safety restrictions at some of our locations, heavily pregnant women are advised not to attend our events. Those in the first two trimesters are advised to inform the company before booking/attending so a risk assessment can be carried out to ensure your safety. You will still however attend at your own risk once all identified risks have been reduced to the safest possible within the confines of the venue, and no liability will be accepted by BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL from injury or suspected paranormal activity.

5. BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL do not arrange or provide sleeping facilities for your attendance at an event unless stated on correspondence as a 'sleepover' event.

5a. We recommend you consider arranging local accommodation if you are travelling long distance to a location for your safety.

5b. We accept no liability for any accommodation booked if an event is unforeseeably cancelled.

6. BEYOND WORLDS will not at any time, location or event, be liable or responsible for any loss or damage to equipment belonging to the participants, during and after the event, even if caused by, for example, suspected paranormal activity.

7. All personal belongings, clothing, equipment, vehicles and or effects belonging to you or members of your party are your own responsibility and will always remain so. Some venues have allocated areas to keep such belongings. BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL are not and cannot be held responsible for the safe custody of attendee’s property, for its loss, damage or theft.

8. Any event due to take place wholly or partially in the open air could be affected by adverse weather conditions. In this case, BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL reserve the right to relocate the event to an area which is undercover where available. In most cases all our events will still take place and it is your responsibility to bring suitable clothing to suit the weather conditions of the time. Flat shoes and warm clothing is advisable on an evening investigation of the temperature can drop in some locations even during the summer.

9. Rarely, investigations may be cancelled or postponed by BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL due to weather conditions or situations relating to the venue which are out of our control. Should an event be cancelled, moved or re-scheduled. BEYOND WORLDS PARANORMAL will issue a credit note or refund to the value of the event booked or difference in price for an alternative available venue.

9a. Any expenses including travel, accommodation or child-care incurred by yourself or your party members, due to the cancellation of an investigation is not the responsibility of BWP and will not be refunded or compensated in any form.

9b. BWP will endeavour to give a minimum of 48 hours notice should an event need to be cancelled where the cancellation is foreseeable.

10. BWP only use professional paranormal investigators with appropriate training.

10a. All statements made by our paranormal investigators are the sole opinion of the individual paranormal investigator and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies, stated or otherwise, of BWP. No perceived predictions, opinions, information, advice or comments made by our paranormal investigators should be interpreted as factual or actual as is the nature of the paranormal.

10b. You, the customer, are encouraged to make your own decisions and opinions and it is understood that when our paranormal investigators suggest something to you, it is an opinion of the paranormal investigators and should NOT be interpreted as the only course of action or belief.

11. BWPI do not recommend taking part in any events held by us if they live with any serious mental or physical impairment which may be triggered during an investigation. Please call us to discuss before booking to assess the suitability of the event chosen.

11a. It is recommended that any other conditions are also disclosed which may be triggered (such as those by flashing lights) at the time of booking. We do use flashing trigger objects and flash photography on investigations and this should be considered before booking. Should you decide not to disclose this information, BWPI will not and cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any trauma experienced before, during or after any of our events.

12. BWPI encourage all guests to bring any filming, recording or photographic equipment for personal use they choose. BWPI may also use certain recording equipment, whether in digital, video or audio recordings. All media maybe used on our and partners websites and social media outlets at anytime. Should you inadvertently appear in imagery that appears on the BWPI or our partners media outlets and or publicity materials, be now aware that by booking an event with us you are agreeing to all terms and conditions and therefore hereby agree to the use of any recordings made where you or your party feature in any form and for any length of time.

13. All event bookings made with BWPI must be paid in full at least 4 weeks before the event where a two part payment plan has been offered. Any booking not paid in full within 21 days of an event will be offered to other customers. All deposits are non refundable regardless of circumstances unless we, BWPI, cancel the event at our expense.

14. BWPI Cancellation/Refund policy.

When making a booking with us it is wholly your responsibility to ensure that you are able to make the event date you have booked. We cannot offer a refund or transfer your places onto another event date if you or any of your party are unable to attend unless there are extreme circumstances,

14a. in cases of extenuating circumstances, the BWPI management team may make an exception if another event is available.

14b. All payments including deposits and payments in full are non-refundable.

15. Should an event be cancelled by BWPI due to circumstances beyond our control then we will endeavour to send immediate notice informing all relevant parties/guests booked by email at the earliest available time.

16. When attending an event you may be asked to provide your unique booking reference number and/or payment receipt as proof of your booking.

17. It remains the responsibility of the customer to arrive on time for the event. Should you be late, it is vital you contact us as soon as possible. Not all venues have access to the internet and reception can be poor in many areas. Events often close the main entrances and gateways after the event begins. Contact details are provided on every confirmation email, no refunds will be given if contact is not made prior to start of event to arrange late arrival.

18. Payments to BYP are accepted by using bank transfer or PayPal. All payments must be made in full 4 weeks before the event. Once full payment has been received, we will send you confirmation of your booking and event specific details. Bookings will only be secured once full booking deposit or full payment has been received and processed by BWPI

19. BWPI endeavour to ensure all information posted/advertised or detailed on the site is accurate and up to date at all times. We cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of all location history although we do research many areas of each location to try and improve accuracy. However, the onus is on the individual to independently research locations should you wish to.

20. By booking an event with BWPI you are agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed and set out by BWPI in full without exception. You further indemnify the organisers/promoters and all team members associated to and working with or for BWPI from and against all legal liability, in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from participation in the chosen BWPI event, course/workshop and or demonstration.

21. BWPI may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

22. THERE IS STRICTLY NO RESALE of event bookings. Bookings must be cancelled and returned to sale by the original seller which remains to be Addicted 2 Paranormal.

23. All guests booking on any BWPI events agree to have their contact details entered on our mailing list. This list is for the sole use of marketing BWPI and will not be used by or forwarded to any other company or persons. Should you wish not to have your details listed please contact us and they will be removed. Please refer to our privacy policy for further information. All personal information will be kept and stored in line with current GDPR legislation.

24. Any photographs shared in the WhatsApp group must be kept to the WhatsApp group and not externally shared. All photographs posted within the WhatsApp group become the property of beyond world paranormal investigation. By posting these photos you agree to these terms and conditions.
